During the initial process, we recognized the approach to the territories as the main source and research resource. During these meetings, we were able to reveal the needs and problems hidden within some of the indigenous and ethnic producing communities in the Pacific region, and in this process of recognizing them, we were able to project alternatives that could be promoted from the experience center.

In 2021 we carried out a practical consultancy
which would include the design, preparation and implementation of the Pacific Colombia tourist experience center.

Social Innovation Laboratory for Cultural Entrepreneurship

The experience included a sensory journey through representative and indigenous cultural elements of the departments of Cauca, Nariño, Chocó and Valle del Cauca, composed of 3 general sections and 4 thematic sections (corresponding to each department).

A cultural experience center should allow for the exploration of heritage and the connection of cultural identity with both domestic and international tourism, addressing everything from the conceptualization of cultural identity to the effects of globalization on it, as well as the impact of communication technologies, their contribution to the image of the territory, and their effects on the concept of authenticity of tourism products.
